Iraq Student Gallery Announcement

Last month, 100cameras joined in the work of an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp located in Khanke Village, Kurdistan, in Iraq. The kids we have worked alongside are from Sinjar and have suffered unspeakable tragedy over the past five years, fleeing their homes after the invasion of the Islamic State and losing loved ones on their long journey to safety.

Our model is built on using the art of photography as a powerful tool for self-expression, processing, and feeling ownership in the stories of their individual lives and those of their communities. Their student gallery of photos is now live, and we urge you to see how they’ve chosen to be represented and how they’ve expressed themselves.

Purchase their photographs, and 100% of proceeds will directly fund priority supplies for the IDP camp where they reside, enabling them to see the impact of their contribution.
