100cameras utilizes photography as a vehicle that carries children's perspectives across borders and raises funds to better their communities.

Our Adopt-a-Camera Initiative gives you a tangible way to join our next project and become a building piece in our partner’s community. We will take 10cameras and teach a photography course to children who are currently living in a repressed community where self-expression is not encouraged.

Your adopted camera will be given to one of these children to empower them with a creative platform. Your camera will not only encourage a child to find ownership in their perspective but will also provide them with the opportunity to share their perspective with others. The child will own that camera during the course of the project and will use it to document their everyday.

Upon completion of the project, 100cameras will send you 10 images of the child’s perspective whom you empowered along with their biography. We would also like to give you the opportunity to name your camera.

Adopt a camera is a one time donation of $500.
